Our first service, St James House, welcomed its first service user in 1999 and since that time we have supported people in a variety of settings, developed as a business and now provide multiple services within the Manchester area.
We specialise in providing person-centered support for adults with learning disabilities across Manchester and we continue to grow, develop, and expand our business to ensure we can provide the best possible care and support services.
We provide support services which range from people living semi independently in their own self – contained flats, to supported living services ranging from single occupancy to twenty-four-hour support. We also offer an outreach service within the local community and to customers within their own home/s.
Standwalk will continue to provide individuals with safe, effective, compassionate, person-cantered, and high-quality care and support throughout all of our services. Standwalk’s main objective is to encourage all services to continually improve and to be the best that they can be, always looking to minimise the support provided to achieve maximum independence and outcomes for our customers.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide support to individuals in a variety of settings- ranging from supporting customers within their own homes to supported living services and registered care. Standwalk currently supports over 85 customers across these settings. We also offer an outreach service within the community and in your own home.
No task is too big or too small for our highly trained and dedicated team of staff. We as a company and as a staff pride ourselves on providing excellence in our standard of care, on constantly ensuring our team are kept up to date with the acquisition of skills through detailed and diverse training, and our professionalism and consistency in delivering care which enables our customers to enjoy the best quality of life.
We encourage honesty and openness at Standwalk, and as such we value feedback very highly. Sharing your thoughts helps us continue to provide the highest quality of care. Whether you have a compliment, comment, concern or complaint, we’d love to hear from you.
